AEA awards Randy Nungesser the Sporty’s Recreational Pilot Scholarship to obtain pilot’s license

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

This week I was honored to become the recipient of the 2010 Aircraft Electronics Association / Sporty’s Recreational Pilot Scholarship award. This is a great opportunity for me and for Spirit and I am extremely humbled and very excited to get started. I would like to say thank you to Rick for getting me hooked on aviation and encouraging me to pursue this scholarship, Sporty’s for their generosity and for offering this scholarship, and the AEA and all of the people on the scholarship selection committee for selecting me for this award. I will definitely put it to good use and will do my best to set a good example and be a great advocate for general aviation.

Thank you to all who had a hand in this!
